MovieDex respects the intellectual property of others and expects its users to do the same.
1. No Hosted Content
MovieDex DOES NOT host any videos, media files, or copyrighted content on our servers. We operate exclusively as a search engine and directory, indexing content that is already publicly available on the internet and hosted by third-party servers.
2. DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content linked on our site infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). However, since we do not host the content, you must address your takedown requests directly to the third-party video hosting services where the files are actually located. Taking down the source file will automatically remove it from our index.
3. Removal of Links
If you still wish for us to remove a link to external content from our directory, please provide a formal DMCA notice with the following information:
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and a specific URL linking to the page on MovieDex.
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Note that emailing your complaint to other parties such as our Internet Service Provider will not expedite your request and may result in a delayed response due to the complaint not properly being filed.
